June 16

Social 20 students, your marks will be posted outside my classroom on Monday morning. You did really well as a class on the Final Exam. The class average was 79%. Excellent work! Have a great weekend!

Social 10 students, your marks have already been posted outside my classroom. Please check your results the next time you're at school writing a final. The class averages were very high, once again for Social 10-1 the average was 78% and the average for Social 10-2 was 81%. Have a great weekend!

It's been a pleasure teaching all of you.

For my Social 20 students, it's unlikely that you will have me again as a teacher, as I only have one Social 33 class next year. I wish you all the best next year, writing all those intense Diploma exams. If you ever want to chat about Social Studies, or just life in general, just pop in for a visit.

For my Social 10 students, there is a higher percentage chance that I will teach you again, as I have two sections of Social 20 next year in the first semester and then the following school year (2007-08) who knows...so perhaps our paths will cross again. Once again, Social 10-1 and 10-2 were two outstanding groups, and if you ever want to pop in for a visit next year, by all means you're always welcome.

It's been a pleasure learning (or not, for some) from you Mr. Gilchrist! I'm certain despite what all the gym teachers say at least some of my fond memories of high school will be playing jeopardy and find the fib (which my team kicked butt on, with 50% higher score than the second placers). I hope I get you as a teacher next year, and no, I'm not just saying that to sound nice, and besides its kind of pointless to suck up now because the year is over, and besides, we post anonymous anyways.

  5. Very good. It's very addictive. What sort of chemicals are in that so it makes me crave it on a weekly (daily) basis?

Its made with a special tropical asian fruit...highly addictive, you can say its kind of like a drug. DONT DO DRUGS, STAY IN SCHOOL!

I don't think so. It's caffeine, the world's most addictive drug (and no, its not sex, because that's not a drug). Read all about it in National Geographic, how the world is enslaved to caffeine.

Last semester, people thought that I would vote Conservative, Liberal, Green, NDP, even BQ. No one knew how I voted in federal elections. You might be barking up the wrong tree with the communist thing though, I wouldn't make it that obvious (or would I?).

I'm cheering for England. They will proably break my heart again though, like they have so many times in the past.

This was a fun year mr. Gilchrist! It was a blast! I have one last question. if my average is 79% will it be rounded to an 80% by any chance??

honestly...what were they doing against Sweden in the second half. VK is very disappointed with Frank Lampard in the tournament so far. But he also cries every time England loses :( Therefore, he is very harsh with them.

If on the marks posted outside my class your report card mark is 79% it will appear on your actual report card as an 80%.
