For the first part of class we watched a video called "Escape from Berlin" about the construction of the Berlin Wall, and the lengths that people would go to escape from East Berlin. I gave you the remainder of class time to work on your Cold War Events Notes (6 W's), today was the last period to use the Cold War and After booklets. If you haven't finished the booklets, it's your job to find that information in your textbook, A History of the Twentieth Century. Here are some page references for some of the events:
