We did a class picture at the beginning of class. I then did a review of the business cycle, demand-side economics and supply-side economics and how they respond to a recession. I started teaching you about democratic systems and the Canadian political structure. We'll continue looking at the Canadian parliamentary democracy tomorrow.

We started looking at First Amendment issues in the USA. The First Amendment protects the freedom of peace, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and freedom of peaceful assembly. We started a film study of an HBO documentary called "Shouting Fire: Stories from the Edge of Free Speech". We'll finish off this video tomorrow.
