You didn't have class today because you were too busy writing Paper 1, which seemed like a fair topic to write about. This weekend you should be busy adding to the Paper 2 Review Google Doc. Social 10-1

We started a film study today of "Globalization is Good" that we'll finish on Monday. As I said in class, this documentary is out of date, but it gives a different perspective on globalization. It's a sarting point for researching different case studies that could potentially be used in your Unit 3 essay. Please remember that your TNC Dossier Assignment is due on Wednesday, May 11th. Assignments that aren't submitted on this day are considered late. A late penalty of 10% off per day that the assignment is late will be administered.

We went through the checks and balances that we see in the presidential democracy, and I assigned the USA-Canada Comparative Government Assignment in class today. This assignment is due on Friday, May 13th. We also watched some YouTube videos on criticisms of the electoral college system, and another video on how American citizens in American territories are unable to vote for the President, and yet another video on the curious case of the District of Columbia.
