In today's lecture I covered Japan after the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) to the 1920s. We'll talk more about the Great Depression and its impacts on Japan, how Japan decided to invade Manchuria in 1931. You should probably read in your textbook, The Move to Global War, pages 23-30 at the minimum. Don't forget that your create a Paper 1 assignment is due on November 20th (two weeks from today).


I finished off the PowerPoint presentation on "The Foundations of Economic Globalization". You really need to focus in on Keynes, Hayak, and Friedman from this lecture for the yet-to-come Chapter 10 Test. Your Chapter 10 Key Terms are due on Wednesday, and your Chapter 10 Questions are due on Thursday.
