We finished watching "Inequality for All" today. If you missed today's class or yesterday's class, it is advisable to have the graphics package with you and watch the film from the YouTube link below. We moved on to democratic socialism today, and the mixed economy. We'll look at a few countries that employ "the Nordic model".

Social 10-1

We continued looking at how to write a position paper. I gave you a booklet called "the recipe for success" today, which is essentially a writing guide for WRA II essays. I also gave you the essay question for this Friday's essay. You'll write the first paragraph on Friday, and then finish off the essay on Monday.

IB 20 HOTA

I gave you a cross class booking form for our Holocaust guest speaker that is coming in on October 25th. Please give this form to your Period 3 teacher to sign. We started the French Revolution today, and we'll talk about the causes in tomorrow's class.
