We did a little review of how to write the Social 30-1 WRA II position paper today. If you missed class today, you need to see me tomorrow during tutorial to go over how to organize your essay. I also strongly recommend that you check out my PowerPoint lecture on the IB 30/35 wiki called "The Evolution of Modern Liberalism" in preparation for the Market and Mixed Economy Test this Thursday. You can find it under the Unit 2 link on the sidebar navigation (Unit 2 under Social Studies 30-1). It will cover a lot of the economic concepts that we covered in class as well.

I taught you a mnemonic device today about the League of Nations (FAILURe), make sure to get these notes from a classmate if you missed class today. We started looking at the PowerPoint presentation today called "Ultranationalism in WWII". We'll continue this lecture tomorrow with Italy. I also gave you about 25 minutes to work on your Chapter 6 Key Terms and Questions, which are due on Friday, October 25th.

We talked about the Canadian Federal Election for about 25 minutes today. I showed you a documentary today (A & E Biography) called "Joseph Stalin: Red Terror". While you watched this video you should have completed the film study in your Social 30-1 course books.
