March 5

I gave you back the results of the Democracy Unit Final at the beginning of class, as well as collecting the Chapter 6 Questions. Please remember that your Chapter 7 and Case Study 11 Questions are due tomorrow. We covered a fair bit of material today, looking at the Law of Supply and Demand, and the Business Cycle, and finally looking at the Great Depression by starting a video called "Boom and Bust". We'll finish watching this video tomorrow, as well as watching another video on "FDR and the Great Depression".

About 55 minutes of today's class was spent writing your Chapter 3-4 Test. The remainder of time was spent watching a video from the BBC series "Days That Shook the World" on the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. I also gave a you a reading booklet called "The Causes of World War I" that you are expected to read before tomorrow's class.
