Social 20-1
I talked a little bit about the end of WWII in Europe, and how after the failure of Operation Barbarossa (the Nazi invasion of the USSR), the success of the Allied invasion of Italy and the D-Day invasion that the end of the war was near for the Nazis in WWII. We watched an excerpt from the film "Saving Private Ryan" as well today. Tomorrow, and for the next few days we will be looking at the Holocaust and other genocides in the 20th century.
