I continued my lecture on "Joseph Stalin and the USSR" today. If you didn't print off a hard copy of these Google Slides and bring them to class today, please make sure that you do so tomorrow. You had a little bit of time at the end of the period to get into your  MaoCastroPeron, and Nasser dictator groups.  I have posted the rubric and scope and sequence calendar for this unit on the wiki



We finished watching "The Age of Wal-Mart" today. While you watched this documentary you should have filled out the film study question sheet. Please don't forget that you have your Chapter 10-11 Test tomorrow (Wednesday, November 28th) please see the study guide below. Please remember that your TNC Dossier Assignment is due on Wednesday, December 5th

I started a lecture on "Joseph Stalin and the USSR" today. If you didn't print off a hard copy of these Google Slides and bring them to class today, please make sure that you do so tomorrow. I also split you into four large dictator groups, each assigned a different authoritarian dictator. You will be working in these groups to produce a final product and learn enough about your assigned dictator so that you can teach your classmates. We're studying Mao, Castro, Peron, and Nasser. If you missed class today, don't worry, you have been assigned a group. I will be posting the rubric and scope and sequence calendar for this unit on the wiki.


You wrote your Unit 2 WRA II Essay today. You should get your results back next week.


We looked at an example of a TNC today by watching a film called "The Age of Wal-Mart". While you watched this documentary you should have been filling out the film study question sheet. Please don't forget that you have your Chapter 10-11 Test on Wednesday, November 28th (please see the study guide below).

You read handouts on Non-Democratic Systems and Totalitarianism. You also watched the A & E Biography called "Joseph Stalin: Red Terror", which had film study questions. You should print off a hard copy of the "Stalin Historiography" Google Slides. You should print off a hard copy of this lecture and bring it to class tomorrow. You'll be writing the Evolution of Liberalism Test on Thursday, November 22nd, please see the study guide below. This test has 60 multiple choice questions, with about 47 of those questions having a source.

With each of these lectures, please focus in on the concepts that were taught in class.
