I continued my lecture on "Joseph Stalin and the USSR" today. If you didn't print off a hard copy of these Google Slides and bring them to class today, please make sure that you do so tomorrow. You had a little bit of time at the end of the period to get into your Mao, Castro, Peron, and Nasser dictator groups. We continued with Unit 3 material today. We looked at different electoral systems today, including FPTP (first past the post) and PR (proportional representation). We also looked at the Canadian federal system and the division of powers between the federal government and provincial governments. We also started looking at the structure of the American government.
