October 22

I talked about the outbreak of WWI as if it were a barfight at the beginning of class, and then I continued with the "Allied Victory in World War I" PowerPoint presentation. You split yourselves into groups for presentations that we will start on Tuesday, each presentation should be no more than 10 minutes in length, and cover your assigned WWI battle. Each of the battles that you must research is one in which either Canada or the United States played a significant role. Please remember to add your names to the chart indicating the members of your group. Don't forget that the good copy of your IA is due one week from today (October 29th).

You wrote your Economic Systems Exam today, you'll get the results back tomorrow.

I finished off the "Legacies of Historical Globalization in Canada" PowerPoint presentation today. I did a homework check on your Chapter 8 Key Terms and Questions. I gave you some time to work on your Chapter 9 Key Terms and Questions (due Tuesday). Don't forget that you are writing your Chapter 7 Test (the study guide is below).
