December 10


We continued with the Causes and Effects of 20th Century Wars (World History Topic 11) today in class, by moving on to the "Course of the Second World War in Europe and North Africa". We'll continue on with this theme for the next couple of days before we move on to the Asia-Pacific theatre of war next week. Please remember, you have your Paper 1 this Friday, and it could be on either of the two cases studies: German expansionism or Italian expansionism.


Once I finally got down to business today, I moved quickly through the lecture on Canadian foreign policy. I also did a homework check on your Chapter 9 Key Terms and Questions, and I also handed back your Unit 2 position papers. I will be giving you the essay question sheet for the Unit 3 position paper on Friday. You'll be writing the Unit 3 WRA II Essay on Monday, December 16th. I'll be posting the study guide for the Unit 3 Final Exam tomorrow on the blog.


I gave you a work period today where you could have studied for tomorrow's Chapter 10 Test (please see the study guide below). You could have also started working on your Chapter 12 Key Terms and Questions, which are due on Thursday. You also have your Unit 3 Final Exam next week (on Monday, December 16th), and you can find the study guide below as well.

  • This test is multiple choice format, with 55 questions.
