December 9

We moved on from our Prescribed Subject (The Move to Global War) back to a Paper 2 topic (World History Topic 11 to be exact) "Causes and Effects of 20th Century Wars". We're going to be looking at the Second World War until the Christmas break. Today, I went through a lecture that introduced you the causes of WWII in Europe and north Africa, as well as in the Asia-Pacific theatre. I also gave you a handout on the usage of technology in WWII (this will be very useful, a must read). Tomorrow, we'll begin looking at how the Second World War was fought, in other words, the course and practice of the war.
