December 8

We finished watching "The Tides of War" today. I also had you copy some definitions down from the board as well. Your Government Poster Project is due on Wednesday, December 13th. Here is the link to the CBC Archives site:

You have a homework assignment today: complete the "Ecological Footprint Assessment" sheet. Visit http://www.myfootprint.org to complete this worksheet. I also gave you a worksheet that illustrates quality of life and food production/consumption. Please complete what you didn't finish in class for homework.

To the student who keeps posting stuff about the world coming to an end, I would like to say this: stop it. I have enough things to do this weekend (like marking Social 20 essays today), it annoys me that every time I've checked the blog in the last two days I've had to delete comments. This blog is designed for students to ask questions, not for people to abuse it by posting junk. If your goal was to annoy me, mission accomplished. If you keep it up, I'll look into blocking your IP address from posting to the blog.

Ok, I am sorry, I won't be posting anything stupid anymore.

Truly sorry

I've marked the posters, so that's about 12 projects there. I did that earlier this week. My goal is to get the others done this weekend. But that presumes that I will finish marking the Social 20 essays. Good progress there, I only have 9 more to mark.

We'll talk about it briefly in class.

Yes, typically the only time that they really cover things from the Senate floor is when something really important is happening, such as the speech from the throne.

Those terms were posted for Social 20 students.

Keep them brief, since you have so many to do. You can even do them in point form as well.

Please send me an e-mail about this or talk to me outside of class time.
