You continued working on the Contemporary World booklet. Please finish this booklet over the weekend.

in ques 58, didn't the passage of consitutuion act of 1982 repatriate the constitution instead of giving the federal govt the right to suspend rights?

Hmmm, let's take a look at this question...

Various legislative acts achieved the following results.
1. Repatriated the Canadian Constitution
2. Entrenched the Charter of Rights and Freedoms
3. Gave the federal government power to suspend rights
4. Provided an amending formula for the Constitution

58. Which points were achieved through the passage of the Constitution Act of 1982?

A. 1, 2, and 3
B. 1, 2, and 4
C. 1, 3, and 4
D. 2, 3, and 4

Yes, this is a bad question. Or at least it is keyed wrong. The Constitution Act was repatriated from Britain, the Charter was entrenched in the Constitution, and we worked out an amending formula for the Constitution.
