I finished off the presentation "Globalization and Sustainability" today, I will be sending this presentation to your e-mail accounts today, so please print it off (four slides per page) and add it to your notes. I showed you a video today called "Globalisation is Good", we didn't quite finish it in class, so please go to the following hyperlink to watch the video. If you missed class, don't worry I will send out the video study guide that goes with this video and you can complete it at home. Please remember to go directly to the Blenheim Room on Wednesday; you have your in-class position paper that day. If you are absent on this day, please ensure that you have someone phone in to the Main Office to excuse your absence as you will receive a mark of zero on this essay if it's an unexcused absence.

We watched an excerpt of "Pearl Harbor" at the beginning of class. I then gave you the remainder of class time to work on the Events of World War II booklet. Please remember to use the following GCSE revision site to examine the Road to World War II. Also, here is a useful hyperlink to a map for WWII (this will help with the Causes of WWII booklet).

Mr.G, for our position paper's topic, "To what extend does globalization contribute to sustainable prosperity for all people? Is it saying that does globalization have an effect on sustainable prosperity? or that globalization doesn't have an effect on sustainable prosperity?

sustainable prosperity in your presentation referred to only environment factors.... so are we allowed to talk about organizations and economy, etc?

sustainable prosperity is when you preserve something for future generation right?
then how can we avoid talking about sustainable prosperty when the topic itself is talking mainly about environment?
