Most of today's class was spent writing your Democracy Unit Final (25 multiple choice questions and 1 written assignment). If you were not in class today, and you do not have an excused absence, you will be receiving a mark of zero on this test.

I collected your Chapter 4 Key Terms and Questions today, as well as giving you the results of your Chapter 1-2 Test. We continued looking at WWI by watching a short video called "Doomed Dynasties". I then went over how to prepare and write the Written Response Assignment I (these were called Part A In-Class Writing Assignments last year in 10-1). I have sent you some documents to help you prepare for tomorrow's Unit 1 in-class writing assignment. Please check your e-mail! Here is the study guide for your Chapter 3-4 Test , which is on Thursday.

Part of today's class was spent writing your Democracy Quiz (31 multiple choice questions), I'll be able to give you the results of this tomorrow. You have a Democracy Unit Final on Wednesday as well, so keep studying. Please remember that your Advantages/Disadvantages of Democracy questions are due tomorrow. We continued our study of capitalism as well today. Please check your e-mail, I will be sending you some supplementary notes on capitalism tonight! Regardless of your result on today's Democracy Quiz, you still need to review/study for the Democracy Unit Exam! It is significantly harder!
