June 8

You wrote your Trial Final today, which took most of the period. These exams have been marked already, so you'll get the results tomorrow.

You wrote Part A of your Final Exam in class today, which took about 65 minutes of the period. I also gave you your seat assignment for the Final Exam Part B. The Final Exam Part B counts for 15% of your final grade in Social 10-1, with Part A counting for 10% of the grade. Most of you will be writing Part B in the Main Gym on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What's the Rhetorical Analysis for?

It's sometimes easier for me to send something out to everyone, than finding individual student e-mail addresses. It is useful for three source analysis though.

I only do one PPT in Unit 1 which you took notes on the challenges and opportunities of globalization. Your notes will be on an 11" x 17" sheet of paper.

Social 10-1
When answering a multiple choice question where there is a source and the question gives you specific answers directly relating to the source as well as main ideas and central themes on the source overall, which answer is best top pick? The more specific answer or the more general answer where either could be right? An example of this maybe like a question where it asks you to pick the best title for a graph or what the cartoonist of a political a cartoon is saying to us the reader....
thanks

I can't really answer the question and give you a rule on which answer to pick because it will vary from question to question. There's no rule per se in that situation because there are too many variables and factors depending on the sources. Sorry for not being able to answer that one.
