Mr. Gilchrist, is it possible to practice old diplomas and look at the unit finals during tutorial times?

Hi, so I was wondering, at anytime during the diploma I can switch from computer to writing by hand, right?
Also, what happens if you run out of paper when you do switch?

Mr. Gilchrist,
I was wondering what could be the three possible arguments for the following source: "Minorities who disagree with government policy should be free to express their views without any restrictions." These are the two arguments that I thought about but I am at a loss for the third one.
1. Stifling the voice of the minority is one of the foundations of majority tyranny
2. Freedom of speech and right to dissent is one of the fundamental rights in a democracy

Yes, you can come in a look at old Diploma Exams. I have a collection of them dating back to the early 1980s. I'm available Monday afternoon from 1-3 p.m.

I've never marked a Diploma where the student typed one part and then wrote the other part by hand. I'm sure if it's allowed.

The 3rd argument's body paragraph could center around a negative argument, for example, the persecution of minorities leads to dictatorship (ex. Nazi Germany and the passage of the Reichstag Fire Decrees and the Enabling Act). It's the whole "slippery slope" argument. You'd use it as your 2nd argument, sandwiched between the two that you have.

Hi mr. G,
So are we allowed to fold pages of our dictionary, with the terms we might need? Cause you said that they don't want people to have sticky notes in them? Do u think I would get in trouble for it? There is absolutely no writing in it either.

Thanks

You gave us a lot examples to work with in regards to an economically based essay, but left us kind of short on political examples. All the examples I can think of are pro dictatorship. (I am a fascist apparently.) What specific examples would go along with my arguments of government accountability, responsible government, and rights and freedoms protected by constitution (freedom of, speech, assembly, and press)?

I sent you outlines from previous semesters as well. They had better arguments and evidence for a politically themed essay.

Really? Conversations about bubble tea again? It's like I've hopped into a time machine and I've been taken back to January 2006.

Long story short: Enron is a classic example for corporate fraud in America. They over-reported the value of their company (Enron was an energy, commodities and services company). In 2000 Enron stated that the company had revenues over over $100 billion. This was completely inaccurate. The Enron scandal called into question accounting practices, and led to the dissolution of the accounting firm Arthur Andersen and the creation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. I hope this helps.
