May 23

We watched a video and completed a video study sheet on the FLQ Crisis today in class. Your homework tonight is to complete the Document Analysis fill in the blanks exercise at the beginning of the booklet that I gave you today.

You wrote your WWI Unit Final today in class. Don't forget that your World War I dossiers are due tomorrow.

Is a letter conisdered an article or an artifact?

Kevin Gilchrist said...

A letter would probably be considered an artifact.

how long does an article have to be?

Kevin Gilchrist said...

It could really vary. A minimum for an article would probably be two paragraphs.

ok i have one article left to do and i'm exhausted for ideas. I did one on the treaty of versailles and how it led to WWII and colin has one on the terms of the treaty.. and everything els eid done, it's just the last article and I was thinking on doing a breif prologue of the war and why/when/where it was signed but I don't think it would be strong enough... any suggestions?

Here is a suggestion Kieran:
a profile of some of the key players at the Paris Peace Conference and the negotiations for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles (Wilson, Clemenceau, Lloyd George, Orlando), and possibly what they wanted to do with Germany.

It says the articles can be point form. How would that measure up to 2 paragraphs?

Kevin Gilchrist said...

Yes, the document analysis on the October Crisis is due tomorrow.

Two paragraphs if you write in paragraph form. Point form notes don't follow paragraph rules obviously.
