whats on the "how a bill becomes a law" quiz
I've said in class, I don't know how many times what's on this pop quiz. I even told you in this post what's on it. Read carefully.
Spiderman, Spiderman...
Quotes V For Vendetta.
"People should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of the people..."
Now if I had some Social 20 students online they could probably tell you which philosophe that sounds like.
Hmmmm sounds like Voltaire
"When legislators try to destroy or take away the property of the people, or try to reduce them to slavery, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who can then refuse to obey the laws. When legislators try to gain or give someone else absolute power over lives, liberties, and property of the people, they abuse the power which the people had put into their hands. It is then the privilege of the people to establish a new legislature to provide for their safety and security."
-John Locke
Sound familiar?
Voltaire would sound something like this,"It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong."
that's so cool
that simulation today was pretty awsome too..very very helpful -thanks Mr. Gilchrist!
For this assignment, how do we hand it in.. should we email it back to you or print it off for class on thursday?

Do you understand Japanese? Incredible! Tonight, please really study Canada's government/administration. Tomorrow you have a pop quiz. Please fight on! (This pop quiz is for Social 10 students)
That's the beauty of Japanese, if you speak English you know a lot of Japanese words. They just take an English word and put a Japanese spin on it. There are lots of cognates.
wow..very interesting..
it seems that i mistakenly answered your question "Do you understand Japanese" in the post after yours.
Too bad I'm not teaching Japanese. This blog could be useful for that too.
私は疲れている!!!!!!!
I hope that you went to bed soon after this post then. How did you post in Japanese? Do you have a Japanese word processing program? Did you copy and paste from somewhere?
おはようございます。Neat. I just copied and pasted from my Japanese word processor. I didn't know that I could do that. Cool!
