Can someone tell me the title in the middle of page 306 in Canada: A Nation Unfolding. Someone erased the title from my textbook...

Sure it says "Canada and the World: Trade and Aid".

i can't find any of the people under IMPORTANT PERSONS on the Ideaological Reaction to Industrialization
do i just ignore the names and just descibe ideas about romanticism?

I can probably help you with that... I think you actually don't have to use those people for the other two sections. The names are just there to help us find the right place in the book. I think you just desrcibe the ideas and view of the revolution for that "ism" in general... hope that helps :)

Hey, Mr. G (social 20-3 here) - Cape Colony, Transvaal and the Orange Free State are in the collective Union of South Africa - do we still label them as how they were before they were united, or do something else...?
Thanks.

The names are there as guideposts to show you where to look in the text. You can comment on the "-ism" in general, the only distinction that I'm really concerned about is social Darwinism and conservatism, there are some differences there!

Look in the index of your textbook under "Boer War" (I hope it's there), and then go to the page where there's a close-up map of South Africa, and you'll see how it should be labelled more clearly. Also the map on the blog tonight should be helpful.

All those key terms should be helpful! Don't go back into the textbook, unless you absolutely have to! You can also get a better idea of the context by studying from the PowerPoints.

I can find some of the attitudes towards the Industrial Revolution in the ppt but some of them aren't there and I can't find them on the internet.

-----------------
Whenever you're going to be away on the day of an exam it's always best to let me know ahead of time. Make sure it's an excused absence. Then you write it when you come back to class. You never get to write it ahead of the rest of the class.

------------------
It's the German form of fascism. Hitler modelled his form of fascism after the Italian fascist movement, with some unique twists to it that helped him rise to power in Germany.
