Sure.

Yeah I think we only need to discuss a majority of the points and a majority of the techniques within the cartoon.

Lots of questions there.
There are 59 questions on the Social 10 unit final.

The Bill of Rights wasn't part of the Constitution and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is entrenched.

That's right, that's what patriation means.

Provincial governments can use the notwithstanding clause to override parts of the Charter. For example, the Charter says that you can't be discriminated against based on your age. Provincial governments override this to prevent you from purchasing cigarettes, drinking alcohol, or getting married before a set age.

Analyze your cartoon. Give a little bitof context, and then analyze the meaning. Pick out a few points that are most applicable to your cartoon to anayze it.

---------------------
I said this in class today. Possibly you are going deaf. It needs to be 3/4 of a page to a page in length.

Send me an e-mail and I'll respond back. I'm not going to send it out blindly to every Social 10-1 student.

That would be reasonable.

mr. gilchrist, i'm having trouble thinking of "is there another point of view that would counter the cartoonist's view?" is it okay if i don't do that one?

Anonymous said...

Is it 3/4 typed or handwritten?

Thanks

どちでもいい。Either way is fine.

------------------
Sure. It would be nice if you had an answer for it, but some cartoons may not lend themselves readily to that.

what is a caption title?

------------------
A title might appear above a political cartoon, and it is as its name suggests a title. A caption typically appears below a cartoon, some cartoons have them and others don't. They both do approximately the same thing. I'll post a picture on the blog here in a second, that has a caption, so you'll get the idea.
