We spent almost the entire period in the library doing research for your WWI/WWII research project. This will be the only research period that you will get, so the rest of your research time should be spent outside of class time. Please make sure that you remember that the list of useful hyperlinks were listed off in yesterday's post.

We tied up some loose ends with the market economy today. You were to read Chapter 9 in A Changing World during class time and then answer the following "Getting it Straight" questions: Q1, Q3, Q4, Q6. I then gave you some notes on the "Characteristics of the Command Economy", which also listed off the advantages and disadvantages of the command economy. Also in this notes package was some notes on the "Soviet Economy" which will be really helpful to you. If you didn't finish the reading and questions in class today, it is for homework.
