April 24

I showed you a video today called "Why Appeasement?", and while you were watching this video you were to complete a film study. I also gave you a GCSE package today that covered Mein Kampf, the Munich Conference, appeasement, and the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact. In this package, on page 131, you find arguments for and against appeasement. What I want you to do is create a chart on a separate piece of paper, and organize these arguments into two columns "FOR" and "AGAINST" appeasement. Then I what you to write a paragraph where you outline which side has the stronger arguments, and WHY. I will take this in on Monday, April 27th. You MUST read all of this booklet!

We finished watching "Shake Hands with the Devil" today. The "Shake Hands with the Devil" film study will be due on Monday, April 27th. I am also setting a due date for your Unit 2 Collaborative Inquiry Projects. You must be ready to make a presentation to the class by Thursday, May 14th.

As a class we marked your Interwar Years Quiz that you wrote yesterday. I have made some changes to your study guide for Monday's Interwar Years Unit Exam, so please see the study guide below.
