We finished off the Cabinet Selection Simulation today in class, so hopefully now you have a greater appreciation of how difficult it is to put together a cabinet, and how much you might be second-guessed in your selections. I also gave you a handout and assignment called "Interpreting Political Cartoons", if you missed today's class you need to get this handout from me. This assignment is due next Monday. You should be studying for your Sovereignty Unit Final tonight. You can find the study guide for this unit final here.

I delivered a short presentation on "The Imperial Age" and showed a video on "the Scramble for Africa". I will be sending out this PowerPoint presentation later tonight. I also announced a unit final exam date for your Imperialism final. This final will be next Monday. Here is the study guide for this exam:

  • "Imperialism in Action" booklet (the one that is due on Wednesday)

Can you explain what Canada's Hundred days were? I know that the allies advanced rapidly but is there anything else we should know about that?

If you know that you're good. Basically it's the final hundred days when the Allies really start to advance rapidly in Europe.
