October 2

You wrote your Regionalism Unit Final today in class. These tests have been marked and you will get the results tomorrow in class. I also returned your Region Brochures too. Overall, these were really well done. If I handed back a mark sheet but not your actual brochure, it will be going up on my "wall of fame" of outstanding student projects. Don't forget that if you are doing the Regionalism Extra Credit Assignment (a website) that it is due this Friday. Your French-English Relations Timeline Project is due next Tuesday, October 10th. Remember with this project that it can be a poster, a PowerPoint presentation, or even a Shockwave Flash Object (in other words you show off how well you know how to use Flash). If you are doing this assignment through electronic means I ask that you not bring it on a floppy disk. Send it to me by e-mail or bring it in on jump drive (USB drive) or on a CD. We will be starting our Identity unit next, and I ask that you start bringing your textbook Canada: A Nation Unfolding to class.
  • Regionalism Extra Credit Assignment is due on Friday, October 6th
  • French-English Relations Timeline Project is due on Tuesday, October 10th

I also did some homework checks on work that was due last week. I also gave you a "Napoleon Package" that includes a crossword puzzle, a word search, and a map assignment. This package is due on Thursday.

for the dba are we allowed to wirte it in point form? and for the back side, question 2...do we have to just talk about just 4 of the things in the cartoon? it asks to describe napoleons domestic achievments in the cartoon.. but all 8 are his achievments...do u just want us to describe 4 out of eight? or is there liek 4 specific ones that u want us to describe?

You are NOT allowed to write the DBA in point form! Choose four of Napoleon's domestic achievements and describe them in detail to get full marks. You select which ones you're writing about, so choose the ones that you know the best, or can write about the best.

hey mr. g, know it's late so it's ok if you don't answer until tomorrow - but should the names of the places on our map be done in pencil or pen? thanks.
